Sync disabled<\/figcaption><\/figure>\r\n\r\n

Shortly after I got my XPERIA Mini Pro, I installed CyanogenMod<\/a> on it and have been quite satisfied with it. But as of a recent update – I don’t know which exactly – my accounts (like Google and Facebook) didn’t synchronize anymore. The sync icon in the options of the different accounts was greyed out, but unlike before, there was no longer any button\/switch to turn synchronization on. Tapping the sync icon itself didn’t lead anywhere either.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

After some searching, during which I found that many others have this problem, too, I discovered a forum post<\/a> that explains how the synchronization can be enabled again:<\/p>\r\n\r\n

  1. go to “System settings” » “Data usage”<\/li>\r\n
  2. tap the menu button<\/li>\r\n
  3. set the checkmark for “Auto-sync data”<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n

    Now the sync icon should be shinig in bright green again on all accounts, and the data will be synced again.
